Lotus Amphitheatre
An open bowl of eight stone tiers lit cyan.
Being built. You can already dance in it.
Up front by the band, with the crowd around you and the circle clapping behind.
The place
An open bowl of eight stone tiers lit cyan under every tread, a lotus of cyan and magenta light on the floor, brass lanterns and cushions on the tiers, jali screens round the top, and the band on a raised stage before jali and violet light.
- The sound
- Many short echoes off the steps all round, the sky open above.
