The place
A courtyard of cream stone with diyas along every terrace's edge, a stone mandala floor in terracotta and teal, round mandala lanterns strung on wires over it, star kandils, lotus-bud lamps, velvet sofas, a gate hung with marigolds, and behind the band a deepstambh, a tower of lamps, before a wall of jharokhas.

- A walled stone court: bright slaps off the terraces and arcades, the jharokha wall throwing one back from the far end.
