A Garba night has a shape. Tonight plays a night in five parts, one after another.
Today the night is built from genres and Nonstop sets in the catalogue. Once songs carry step tags, it can move from Be tali through Tran tali and Hinch to Dodhiyu.
Jump to any state the player can be in. These only exist in the prototype.
Listen in Brave. It's the browser we suggest on iPhone.
Brave can't add PlayGarba to your Home Screen, though. For that, open playgarba.com in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens full screen, without the browser bars.
Use Brave. The music keeps playing when your screen turns off or you switch to another app.
To install, open the Brave menu and tap Install app, or Add to Home screen.
PlayGarba works in any browser on a computer.
To keep it one click away in Brave, Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
PlayGarba is installed on this device.
A live reaches people through its link. When you open someone's link, their live is kept here so you can go back to it.
Add songs from below. They play in this order and start again from the top.
Anyone with the link hears the same song at the same moment as you. If you change the playlist, share the new link so everyone follows.
Tap anywhere to go there: a seat, a step, the floor, the stage or the DJ.
On iPhone and iPad, use the volume buttons.

What should PlayGarba do next? Your words are kept exactly as you write them.
Music plays through YouTube's official player, which stays visible whenever it's open. Closing this keeps the music going.
ગરબો
The word comes from garbha deep, a lamp inside a clay pot. The pot is perforated, so the light shines out through its holes. It is placed at the centre of the dance.
Dancers move around the lamp or an image of the goddess in a counterclockwise circle. The circle can grow ring by ring as more people join.
Garba is danced in named steps. Be tali has two claps and Tran tali has three. Hinch, Dodhiyu and Popatiyu each have their own movement.
Garba is danced through the nine nights of Navratri, devoted to the Mother Goddess. It is also danced at weddings and other celebrations through the year.
The border draws on Mata ni Pachedi, a temple cloth of Ahmedabad's Devipujak community.
